Its ability to turn on a sixpence is down to its combination of front-mounted castor-wheels with independent rear-wheel hydrostatic transmissions - using the ultra-responsive steering levers, obstacles such as trees, ornaments, benches and flowerbeds can be negotiated impressive speed. And, of course, end-of-pass realignment manoeuvres will prove far easier and faster than with a conventionally-steered ride-on.
The Toro HDX5450 Timecutter boasts a high-capacity 708cc Toro air-cooled four-stroke engine that blends V-Twin cylinders with overhead-valves so as to maximise torque-output, while minimising vibration, noise, emissions and fuel-consumption.
The widest-in-class 137cm mower-deck on the HDX5450 has been fashioned from heavy-gauge welded steel for rugged durability; and is fitted with anti-scalp wheels that prevent turf-marking when turning on uneven terrain.
The deck can either side-discharge or mulch-clippings, with the former option great when dealing with overgrown meadow-grass; and the latter ideal for well-maintained formal lawns (227-litre collector optional).
Hard to match when it comes to operator comfort, the Toro HDX5450 Timecutter Zero-Turn Ride-On Mower has dampened steering levers with soft-grips; a high-backed seat with armrests; and a handily positioned cup-holder.
Three-range gearing - Trim; Mow; Tow - means there’s a speed-setting for every application; while a wide-ranging height-of-cut (38mm to 114mm) facilitates the management of changing grass-conditions and the creation of a ‘just so’ finish where required.
Built with longevity to the fore, this model is of all-steel construction and runs on a heavy-duty cast-iron front axle.

Delivery Time
Delivery is normally the next working day for orders received before 11.30am – subject to stock and availability. In the event that your order will take longer than 3-5 days, we will contact you to notify you of the expected delivery date, and you will have the option to cancel if you wish.
We will try to give you an expected lead time for items which are not in stock which can be found on the item webpage.
Any missing items or damaged items will need to be notified to us within 24 hours of delivery date. Please note that some ride-on mowers and certain products are restricted to local delivery only (20 mile radius from HA0 2AH). In these cases, we will always offer free delivery and we aim to deliver the order in 2-10 days, depending on the type of machine and distance.
